hello, am tokuto
Hey there, I am a drifting rambler of shamelessly confessional fiction and prose poems. You can read more about that here, but the long-story-short is that I'm here to start rebuilding my fiction and poetry portfolio.
Published Works
Dang, so, I don't have anything published since my community college literary journal (and they don't even have the PDF online anymore, wth) but I am eager to fill this space and will be submitting like crazy.
Self-Published Works
I like the handcrafting involved with printing and assembling my own writing, so I have zines and chapbooks. I sometimes drop them in bathrooms and they're available to buy on my ko-fi:
| Title | Format | Synop. |
|---|---|---|
| No Amount of Hyperspeed Walking | Chapbook | The vessel for a cosmic sorceress rejects his station and suppresses 52,560 hours of angst, transmuting it into rambling prose poems. |
| Maps of Misremembered Spaces | Zine | An 8-fold zine that seems bigger on the inside than it is on the outside, detailing the floor plans of 7 oddly familiar liminal spaces. |
| They Would Have to Fire Me if you sent my employer this zine about finding a BULLSHIT JOB and STEALING company time to PURSUE MEANING AND CREATIVITY | Zine | A satirical guide to being an underachiever. |
| Micro-Fic Bundle: Yuno Gets a McDouble, Cyber Knight, and Chicken Box | 3 Zines | Three tiny fictions of differing styles, printed on 8-page zines. |
| The Kimochi Warui Diary | Novella | A satirical travelogue of a weeaboo's first trip to Japan, from a time when liking anime was still lame and came with mandatory self-derision. |
Contact Me
I'm not very into algorithm driven big tech platforms right now, so I'd prefer to go email, or even exchange letters if we're comfortable with each other. Email is a great start though, you can hit the button below:
